What
is FengShui?
|

|
FengShui
exhibits a unique Chinese culture. During thousands of years of
civilization, FengShui has been embodying Chinese people’s
pursuit of an ideal environment.
|
environment’,
attaches great importance to the relationship between man and the
environment. The FengShui theory emphasizes a harmony between man and
the environment. The theory stresses that an appropriate environment
is propitious for man’s existence and development. Not only the
earth and all kinds of constructions, but also human being is a part
of nature. Each part relates and harmonizes with one another, forming
an organic whole. This kind of environmental naturalism is not only
the core of FengShui but also the elite of traditional oriental
culture.
As
an embodiment of traditional culture, FengShui is not only a
widespread folk-custom, an art of selecting propitiousness and
avoiding ominousness, but also a knowledge of man’s pursuit of
living in harmony with the environment. From the point of view of the
modern science, FengShui is a science integrating Geophysics, Science
of Surroundings, Ecology of Architecture, and Human Body Informatics.
By selecting, programming, constructing, laying out, adjusting one’s
residence, grave, the place in which one produces, works, does
business affairs, travels or takes recreation, or even the whole city
construction system, one can achieve body and mental health, family
prosperity and harmony, good career prospects, and sound offspring
growing, thus attaining the ultimate purpose of keeping nature and man
in harmony.
Why
can FengShui change fortune?
Experiments
show that different living and production surroundings bring with them
different energy fields, which will affect dwellers’ fortune.
Propitious environment will bring good fortune to the dwellers,
helping them to attain good health, successful career and flourishing
business. On the other hand, ominous environment usually brings to the
dwellers bad fortune.
Our
company aims to help the customers select, program, lay out and
adjust their residences and work places, to create a favorable
magnetic field of the environment, in which man’s energy and the
environment energy are in a state of harmony and intergrowth to bring
dwellers good fortune.
What
does
the theory of FengShui base on?
As
a branch of YiJing, the theory of FengShui is based on BaGua and Yinyang
and Five Elements. Our ancestors thoroughly observed everything from
their own bodies to those substances around them and invented BaGua,
which is an all-inclusive theory. Everything on earth can be explained
by Yinyang and Five Elements. Take QianGua as an example: QianGua is
embodied by Gold, which stands for the Emperor, the father, the
elderly or the head and the large intestine in the body.
If
there are red articles or electrics in QianGua or the north-west
corner of the house, QianGua will be damaged. Reflected in
individual’s fortune, this kind of damage will cause the father to
suffer diseases and other family members to have headaches. The damage
shown in the characteristics, the head of the household is easy to
lack his own idea. If such things happen, moving the electrics can
avoid the bad effects. If, unfortunately, the electrics can not be
moved, putting a fish urn in the north-west corner
will also dispel the bad fortune. This is because the water in
the fish urn can put out fire and moist gold. Adjusting the layout
this way will change a bad fortune to a good one.
Let
me give you a real example. Mr. Wang in Shanghai had always been in
good health. But since he moved to the new residence, he was always
suffering headaches. I examined his house and found that in the
position of QianGua there was a floor stamp beside which stood a tea
table. There was a telephone on the tea table. I told Mr. Wang to move
the telephone and the floor stamp to other places. Soon Mr. Wang’s
symptom disappeared.
Similarly, the surroundings and the interior layout greatly influence
an enterprise’s management and its profit. The appropriate
adjustment of the interior layout can effectively change the magnetic
field of the surroundings, thus fostering the development of the
enterprise and increasing its profit.
